History

With a history of over fifty years in the transport industry and into its third generation RHP has seen changes over the years. It all started with Ken Roberts, who after the war spent most of his working life, driving or maintaining trucks. The trading name was changed to RHP in the late seventies when Ken retired. RHP, the three family names Roberts, Hughes and Peregrine has established itself over the years as one of the leading transport companies in the Midlands.

The business model changed with the development into warehousing along with fully equipped HGV workshops and other peripheral services. The business works with both blue chip and small accounts, concentrating on core values and strong customer relationships, many of which span over thirty years. “At heart, we are a family business with family values. With a strong emphasis on plain hard work, we have the aim of giving our customers continuously good quality and reliable service at a competitive price.”

Today RHP offers a wide range of services to its customers and continuously looks at opportunities of building long-term working relationships with customers and adapting to the market requirements.
